In this video we explore 46th Street in Yangon with our guest guide – Whity. She takes a look at the street’s hotels, hostels, street food, massage shops, restaurants and much more. On her tour she speaks to guests and owners of various establishments.

In this video we explore Burmese tea House culture in Yangon with our guest guide Whity. She introduces us to a traditional Tea House and what is often mentioned as the Best Tea House in Yangon. We visit these places and chat to some of the locals about what they like about tea houses and why it is such a big part of Burmese culture. We try some classic Burmese Tea as well as Myanmar’s national dish – Mohinga.

In this video we explore Saya San Road in Yangon with our guest guide Whity. We visit a traditional Burmese restaurant and take a look at some of the other restaurants on the road as well. Finally, we visit a large bakery where we try out some of their unique products.

In this video we visit one of Yangon’s traditional night markets – the Kyee Myin Daing Night Market. Our guest guide is Whity. The market sells fresh vegetables, fresh meat, street food, clothes, spices, sausages, Burmese sweets, fresh milk, dried fish and many other items.

In this video Whity takes a trip outside Yangon to the ancient City of Bago. She is taking a short trip to the resort called Kanbawza Hinthar – the best rated resort of Bago. This is an area of Myanmar that is much more quiet, relaxing and full of nature than the city of Yangon. It is an ideal day trip away from the big city as it is only 1 hours drive North of Yangon. Whity will show us all the facilities the resort has to offer and her impressions of the place.

In this video Whity goes on a cruise. She is sailing with the Anawrahta Cruise company which offers a luxurious fusion of Burmese tradition with British-colonial opulence. The accommodation is first class and the facilities of the ship are extravagant. On the top deck is an open air bar and large pool/jacuzzi. The rooms are all spacious and have private balconies. The ship is meant to sail the Irrawaddy river to give its guests a spectacular view of the Burmese countryside. Join Whity as she explores this magnificent cruise ship.

In this video Whity takes a road trip around the rural area of Bago – which is an hour’s drive North of Yangon in Myanmar.
